Dr Yoo-Young (Dominique) Lee is a radiation oncologist based in Brisbane, Australia, whose work sits at the intersection of medicine, courage, and humanity.

leader, and author, she is deeply committed to helping doctors and healthcare organisations build cultures where people feel safe to speak, grow, and thrive.

Through her career caring for patients facing life’s most difficult moments, she has witnessed the extraordinary strength of individuals and the profound impact that compassion and connection have on healing — not only for patients, but for those who care for them.

As a survivor of sexual violence within the medical profession, Dominique brings a deeply personal perspective to her advocacy. Her lived experience
has shaped her commitment to supporting victims, speaking openly about trauma and recovery, and challenging the silence that too often exists within medicine. She is passionate about creating environments where people feel heard, valued, and protected, and where courage and accountability are embraced as essential foundations of safe and healthy workplaces.

Through her writing, speaking, and her work founding HeyBoss!, Dominique advocates for cultural change in healthcare, with a focus on psychological
safety, compassion, and leadership responsibility.
